For those of us who cannot always make it out of the city to head north, we have lots of options to enjoy skiing and snowboarding right in the heart of the City of Toronto.

The City of Toronto offers up many programs like Competitive Skiing and Private Lessons designed for all ages from beginners to advanced skiers/snowboarders.

Earl Bales Park, located right in the heart of Toronto, off Sheppard Ave. W includes facilities like a ski and snowboard school, snowboard and downhill rentals, helmet rentals, hi-tech snow-making, a chair lift, night skiing, a rope tow, and much more. It is a great place for beginner skiers, and offers three intermediate slopes and one beginner run.

Centennial Park, located one block west of Renforth Drive, north of Rathburn Road. This area consists of one intermediate slope, one beginner slope, and a snowboard slope. Centennial Park offers various facilities such as ski and snowboard school, rentals, hi-tech snow-making, a tow-bar, a carpet lift, night skiing, and a snack bar.  A great option for Toronto activities so ski Toronto!

Alpine Indoor and Snowboard Training Centre – If you can’t make it outdoors or are strapped for time, why not try Canada’s ONLY indoor ski and snowboarding training centre.  This state of the art training center features two Maxxtracks indoor ski slopes. Conveniently located in Mississauga, only minutes away from highways 427, QEW, 401 & 403.

Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro, this unique indoor training facility provides you with the same disciplines as on-hill riding within a controlled and safe environment.

Beginners can learn the sport of skiing and snowboarding in ideal surface conditions on a pitch they are comfortable with and learn how to effectively avoid injury and recovery after a fall.
